Clare leads the team at Connell Consulting and is well known within the private equity and corporate finance world for her extensive knowledge of health, social care and education. After graduating from Durham University, Clare has worked in strategy consulting for 20 years at the Strategy Practice of Accenture, OC&C Strategy Consultants and then 7 years as the most experienced Engagement Manager at Candesic. In the last 7 years Clare and her team at Connell Consulting have worked on a large volume of substantial transactions, strategic reports and operational improvement projects in the health, social care and special education markets. Connell Consulting won the LaingBuisson Management Consultant Award in 2019 and the HealthInvestor Consultancy of the Year 2016; Clare was also voted Sector Expert by her peers in the 2018 and 2019 HealthInvestor Power 50.
Jaimie is the Head of Client Delivery and has worked on all of our projects, having joined Connell Consulting in January 2013 shortly after completing her MBA. She holds a BSc in Marketing and has studied business and management in Paris and London.
Charlotte’s particular areas of expertise are advising on market entry strategies, portfolio optimisation and the NHS commissioning landscape. She joined Connell Consulting in 2014 having previously worked within healthcare consulting for 2 years. She holds an MBiochem in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Oxford.
Freddie joined Connell Consulting in 2017 with a strong interest in healthcare having graduated with a BSc in Physiological Science from the University of Bristol. He has worked in the contracts department of the Autovista Group, and the market launch team of Deliveroo.
Sonia is the Office Manager at Connell Consulting. She brings over 11 years of Office Management experience to our organisation. Sonia supports the company operations by maintaining office systems and supporting management. She has experience in handling a wide range of administrative and support related tasks and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.
Cheran is a Business Analyst at Connell Consulting with a background in strategy. He has worked on projects including elderly care and special education. He previously worked for the Home Office’s Strategy Directorate, and on projects for Bain & Company as well as Strategy&’s M&A team. Cheran graduated with a BA in International Politics from King’s College London.
Radhika is a Business Analyst at Connell Consulting. She has previously worked at Bio Nano Consulting, a biotechnology consulting firm, and has a MSc in Chemistry from Imperial College London. Her areas of expertise are client communications, market research and large-scale data analysis.
Lilya joined Connell Consulting in 2020 as a Business Analyst. She holds an MBiochem in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and has a particular interest in special education. She has experience in event management, fundraising and digital communications.
Alex joined Connell Consulting in 2020 as a Business Analyst after completing his degree in Geography with a Year Abroad at Durham University. He has previously undertaken roles as a classroom assistant and sports instructor for children in special education. Alex also has experience working with Grant Thornton, SustainValue and the NHS.
Ludo joined Connell Consulting in 2020. Previously, he was an independent consultant working on engagements for PwC, the private equity fund ECI Partners, the hedge fund CQS and the private debt fund Devonport Capital. Before then, he worked for a short time at the expert network GLG. He began his career spending three years as a management consultant at KPMG. He holds a BA(Hons) in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin.
George joined Connell Consulting in 2018 as a Research Analyst and is currently completing his Philosophy degree at University College London. He has worked on a number projects involving elderly care, as well as assisted and supported living for learning disabilities. George has previously worked with Deloitte.
Matt joined the team at Connell Consulting in 2019 as a Research Analyst. He has experience of mystery shopping care home businesses, specialising in elderly peoples services. Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Theatre from Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music.
